Raffle for Registered Divers!
Where: At beautiful Waldo Lake (off Highway 58) at SHADOW BAY Campground (D Loop). Remember, Waldo is Oregon’s second largest lake (after Crater Lake) and is one of the cleanest lakes in the world!
Cost: $25 per diver. (Includes Raffle and T-shirt) Register with Central Oregon Diving LLC before Sept 3rd. Late registration will be limited and cost $35. RESERVE TANK RENTALS VALID ONLY WHEN YOU’VE REGISTERED. REGISTER EARLY!!
Why: We seek a fun friendly get together for divers and their families to celebrate a beautiful place and a wonderful sport. We just want to meet everyone, do a few dives, explore a new wall, try out our new gear, eat some great potluck, and socialize with friends around a campfire.
Activities: Of course we plan to dive! We have decided that SHADOW BAY CAMPGROUND area offers the most access to good dives. Some folks are planning to bring boats for diving the west side of the lake. We could do a night dive if people are interested! You might even coax one of our instructors into signing off a few required dives or another specialty. For non-divers, Waldo offers wonderful canoe, boat, and kayak exploration as well as a wonderful mtn. bike / hiking trail around the lake just inside the wilderness boundary! Buy, beg, borrow, or rent your tanks, canoes, kayaks, or boats! Remember, Central Oregon Diving LLC is organizing this, so it is going to be laid back and just relaxed fun! No obligations other than that! A great Potluck dinner around the campfire has become a delightful tradition! Dig out your favorite camp recipes!
CENTRAL OREGON DIVING LLC will be taking care of the registration. For the T-shirt, you must register before Sept. 3rd! Please drop by the shop and register or email your interest (we need a T Shirt count) or questions to me. Send your registration fee and Liability Release form (PDF attachment) to:
